Dr. Phinney and Tom Snow take listeners into discerning the difference between demonic, counterfeit miracles, and the true works of the indwelling Spirit of God, and focusing on this has never been more critical. We live in a generation where supernatural activity is increasing on both sides of the spiritual battlefield. The enemy is fully capable of producing signs, wonders, sensations, and manifestations that look spiritual but are sourced in darkness. Scripture warns that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, and that the False Prophet will perform miracles so convincing that even the elect would be deceived—if that were possible. Not every supernatural display is holy, and not every “move of God” is birthed from the Spirit of God.
At the same time, the genuine work of the Holy Spirit is unmistakable to those who know His voice and His character. True miracles flow from the life of Yeshua within the believer—marked by humility, holiness, repentance, and transformation. Real revival produces fruit, not frenzy; obedience, not spectacle; Christ‑likeness, not chaos. In this episode, we will explore how to distinguish the graved, demonic imitations from the authentic movements of the Spirit, and how to recognize the difference between manufactured revivals and the real outpouring of God that aligns with Scripture, exalts Yeshua, and produces lasting spiritual life.
